Fun Facts About Cats

It is known more and more that cats, as a part of our family members, are incredibly surprising. There may be something new everyday as we share our daily life with them. As cat parents we sure know there is never a dull moment with cats, except maybe for the hours that they sleep, and even then, just looking at them in their various positions can sometimes be an experience.

Cats are one of the favorite pets in the world. They are known for their playful personalities and tendency to purr when content. Cats have fascinated humans for centuries, and some believe that cats were first domesticated as early as 12,000 years ago. Cats have excellent hearing, vision, and sense of smell and can jump up to five times their body length. Cats have retractable claws, which they use to groom themselves and catch preys.
